A family-run business since the 1960s

Killinure Chalets is a family-run business located on the shores of Lough Ree in County Westmeath. Established in the 1960s, the business is now in its third generation and has been welcoming guests to Killinure for decades.

For more than 30 years, Manfred and Geraldine Walesch have been at the heart of Killinure, welcoming guests and looking after the chalets and grounds. Today, their son William and his wife Aoife are continuing the family business and welcoming guests to enjoy the same beautiful lakeside setting.

“We were staying fishing for a week, as we do each year. Always a friendly vibe to the place. Chalets are perfect for what we need for fishing and the staff are most accommodating and helpful.”
